Bay Tours

The number one tour in Huatulco is along the emerald coast, featuring beautiful bays and secluded beaches (La India, Riscalillo, Jicaral).  The snorkeling is fantastic.  At San Augustin bay, you can enjoy fresh sea food on a rustic palapa next to one of the most well preserved reefs along the Mexican pacific ocean.

Puerto Angel

This is a famous old fisherman town, about one hour down highway 200.  We will first stop at the national park Ventanilla, where you can learn about crocodiles in their natural habitat.  We can also visit the natural cosmetic factory, and the Mexican turtle center, a great place to learn about turtles.  Nearby is Zipolite, a hippie town and the only official nude beach in Mexico.

Deep Sea Fishing

Fishing in Huatulco is good year round.  Bonita, Dorado, Sailfish, Marlin, Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, and Bass can be caught at various times of year

depending on the weather and ocean conditions.  Mario is experienced at reading the ocean conditions, currents, coloration, sea birds altitude, etc.  Ask about what is currently in season.

Bird Watching

About 80% of the species of birds in Mexico can be seen in the state of Oaxca.  Huatulco is one of the areas were you can find exotic sea birds at "la Bocana", where the Copalita river meets the sea.  Many subtropical birds can be found inland: Magpies, Trogons, Buntings, Hummingbirds, Orioles, Warblers and more...

Oaxaca City

A real experience: culture, crafts, pueblos, cuisine, customs, Zapotec-Mixtec prehispanic ruins sites, art, galleries, and beautiful churches.  The center of the city represents a typical Spanish colonial style, with the traditional square (zócalo).  This is typically a two night and three day tour.  Ask Mario for the details.
